The Dan Berkson Quintet perform modern jazz with a strong sense of both history and innovation. Drawing equally from the great piano ensembles of Keith Jarrett and Bill Evans and the sounds of psychedelic, Fender Rhodes-based music, they bring their own musical identity communicated through Berkson’s compositions.
